Deaf-Blind

Students who are deafblind have combined vision and hearing disabilities which require specific instructional strategies that address their unique support needs. In combination, the impact of these conditions, with or without additional disabilities, is educationally significant. This includes students with conditions that put them at risk for future combined vision and hearing disabilities. Families and school teams of students who are deafblind are encouraged to explore the resources on this website, and reach out to their regional DeafBlind Project Consultants with questions and support needs.
