Literacy

The PaTTAN Literacy Initiative in collaboration with Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Special Education and Intermediate Units, supports the efforts of Local Educational Agencies in meeting the literacy needs of all students.     

Supports offered consist of systems level review and action planning, classroom level coaching and customized professional development offerings. All supports are grounded in evidence based practices and targeted to all literacy specific disabilities, with a specific focus on teacher preparation and retention.
